it's not an understatement to say that when I dyed this terracotta colour I was over the moon, it's my personal colour of choice every time but always struggled to create it, and now I've found a way! before I cut into it to make this jumper I had to pause a moment... so anxious was I to mess it up 
i've called this the foragers dream because the mushroom on the back is a chicken of the woods (though also looks like turkey tail in one colour print) which is a delicious edible mushroom that many hunt for. 
the centre front fungi are liberty caps, psylocibe semilancata, hence the stars... 
snuggly collar can be worn up like on the photos or folded down as it is lined, the drawstring makes it particularly cosy as you can pull it in or loosen it as you desire 
back is emerald fluff at the top with charcoal grey below it. sleeves have the same charcoal colour printed with edible mushrooms, and the rest is emerald fluff, elasticated cuffs.
 
pockets are made with some gorgeous embroidered Indian fabric from Challo Life and pure hemp canvas in black. cosy but also ideal for not dropping things!
