DYED & DYED AGAIN

following on from my samples of pure bleach on black cotton, i then started to experiment using different colours as the base to see what colour the bleach would turn it. the t shirt shows below was originally white and dyed teal blue using the dylon eco reactive dyes. the effect of bleach on this teal blue colour is a very pale pink, which again is a very strong and certain aesthetic.

the shapes and lines created by the bleach are strong because it is highly viscous so the pigment doesn't bleed over the lines, so the pattern created especially in this colour way almost looks like clouds.
